Coach Philosophy:

  • Treat all players equal and none the same; all players need to follow guidelines set by team but everyone is motivated differently so I try to find the best way to reach the player
  • I work to make everyone an all-around player by having them utilize all skills in practices regardless of their dominant positions (i.e. make back row players play front row and vice versa, make everyone serve and set even if they wouldn't in an game, etc)
  • Lastly is the court IQ; teaching them the strategies of the game and the importance of each positions role in the team's overall schemes (offensively and defensively)
