Brian Rosen

Brian will be coaching the 18 Light team in 2018. Last season he coached the 17 Elite team. His past 8 teams have qualified and competed as USAV Nationals. He is currently the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Davidson College. Brian finished his first season as the head coach at Providence High School after spending the past seven years as head coach of Charlotte Country Day. At CCDS he led the Bucs to back to back NCISAA 3A State Champions and CISAA Conference Champions in 2013 and 2014. In 2014, Country Day finished 44-1 and ranked #15 in the country according to MaxPreps. He was named Charlotte Observer and South Charlotte Weekly Coach of the Year the past two years. Brian was selected to the 2013 AVCA Thirty Under 30 list as one of the top 30 coaches in the country, at any level, under the age of 30. Only two high school coaches received this award. In 2012 the Bucs finished as the State Runner-Up.  He has also coached club teams at the University of South Carolina and was a volunteer assistant coach at Winthrop University. Brian has had the priveledge of coaching two Gatorade POYs and All-Americans in Katharine Franz and Julia Scoles as well as several other girls who continued their volleyball careers in colleges across the country.
