Jo Meewes
12 Regional South Head Coach
This is Jo's third year with CJV. She is in her 8th year as the Marvin Ridge Middle School Varsity Coach, and coached with Union Select Academy for 5 years. Before that, Jo was the JV Coach at Oviedo High School in Oviedo, Florida, and spent a year as the JV coach at Detroit Country Day School. Jo is a math teacher at Marvin Ridge High School. Both of her daughters have played at CJV.
Coach Philosophy:
My main goal as a coach is to foster a positive environment that allows athletes to develop their skills in all areas of volleyball. I also feel it is very important for players to learn how to be a part of a team, and how to work together to be successful. I want the players to work towards small goals and be excited about accomplishing even the smallest item. I also want the players to enjoy the sport and have fun.
