Lewis Williamson
15 National North Head Coach
Lewis has coached volleyball for over 30 years, and has trained athletes at every skill level from 5 years of age to adults. He also played volleyball for the United States Air Force, in addition to serving our country in the armed forces. Traveling the world, Lewis led South Korea PACAF International team to 2 consecutive championships. Lewis enjoys and loves teaching, helping and aspiring athletes to reach their overall potential. Some career coaching highlights include: UNC Charlotte men's and women's club, Hillsborough Community College, Florida Region Clubs, USA South U15-17, and Director of coaching at Charlotte Powerhouse.
Coach Philosophy:
I believe that sports mirror life.. Through sport we can teach our athletes very valuable life lessons. They learn to work as a team and as in life you may not like everyone on your team but you have to find a way to work together.
They learn to be selfless and that it is not alalways about you but what is best for those around you.
They learn to care for others, to be kind and how to build great relationships that can last a Lifetime
