Suzie Pignetti
CJV Director (Retired) - Master Coach
Suzie is one of the orginal Directors and Founders of the CJV Club which began 20 years ago. Her involvement with youth volleyball in the Charlotte area dates back way before CJV and she is the most successful and accomplished volleyball coach in Charlotte. She has coached many National and Regional teams over the years and helped develop many of the successful players and coaches in the area. She currently is the National and Regional Teams Director for CJV.
Suzie recently retired from her 12th season at Charlotte Latin where she won an impressive 9 straight NCISAA 3A State Championships and 11 CISAA regular season championships. Prior to Charlotte Latin, she was the head coach at Butler High School for four years and at Charlotte Country Day for twenty years. At CCDS she won 6 NCISAA State Championships, for a total of 15 State Championships and hundreds of CJV / USAV Club victories.
In 2012, Suzie was chosen as the AVCA National High School Coach of the Year. Click Here for more information on this award.
Suzie is the Founder of the Serve for the Cure (SFTC) annual volleyball tournament which has raised over $380,000 in 13 years since it's inception. SFTC benefits the Charlotte Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and is sponsored by Sports Connection and Carolina Juniors Volleyball.
