Overview
Carolina Juniors sponsors Coaches Clinics to help introduce and teach individuals interested in learning how to coach volleyball for their school or club and to assist current coaches with pointers, ideas and drills. Clinics are open to current coaches, prospective coaches, parents, players, administrators, etc interested in learning more about coaching and teaching volleyball.
CJV Coaches Clinics are offered throughout the year. The clinics are ideal for All levels of coaches wanting to learn from some of the area's best club, high school and college coaches. All participants must register in advance. No walk-ins the day of please. Space is limited. See chart below for dates, times, locations and prices. Additional sessions may be added, please check back for additional dates.
NC State Coaches' Clinic Details
This coaches clinic is open to any coach interested in learning more about ways to teach the game of volleyball. The clinic will have sessions focused on individual skills, drills to implement in your practices, offensive and defensive systems, strength and conditioning, and overall strategies to use during matches. This clinic will be directed by Head Coach Luka Slav, along with his coaching staff.

Clinic Director
Luka Slabe was hired as the head coach for NC State volleyball on Feb. 10, 2020. Slabe joins the Wolfpack after two years with USA Volleyball. While at USA Volleyball Slabe has worked under volleyball legend Karch Kiraly to help the American side qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as well as take home a silver medal at the 2019 FIVB World Cup. He joins the Wolfpack and will remain on the USA Volleyball staff through the 2020 Olympics this summer. From 2013-15, Slabe served as the head coach of the Slovenian National Team, dramatically increasing the program's world ranking. During his tenure as a Head Coach of Slovenia Men's National Team, various professional teams, while competing in the most prestigious club league in the world – Champions League, his teams won eight national and international championship titles. Slabe played collegiately at BYU, helping the program to the 2001 NCAA Championship. The team was the 2003 NCAA runner-up as well. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from BYU in August 2003. |
